Liz Calabrese

Each individual coming into therapy is valuable, resilient, and capable of healing and growth. I work from a strengths-based approach, looking to help encourage each person's uniqueness and purpose in life. I listen carefully to my clients' inner wisdom, as I believe that each individual is the expert on their world. I am passionate about empowering women, helping them find a sense of self and accessing their full potential. I enjoy working with those dealing with trauma, exclusion from faith based communities, anxiety, exploring sexuality, and issues related with self-esteem. I am trained in EMDR and Gottman's couple therapy. I am trained to integrate faith into psychotherapy for my Christian clients as I believe faith and healing can be deeply connected.

Group Therapy

I am leading a new group cycle beginning on Monday, April 18th at 5pm. The group is 1 hour long and will go for 10 weeks. The group is virtual and is a process group. We will do a workbook together and chat about our learnings. The themes of group therapy I facilitate tend to relate to trauma, embodiment, and self-compassion. This cycle we will be working through Your body is Not an Apology Workbook: Tools for Living Radical Self-Love. Contact me at liz@sproutfamilyclinics.com
